In the letter she called him a “living legend” and talked about how he has contributed to the family. She has also addressed his career accomplishments and all that makes him an icon in the industry. Salim Khan's partnership with Salma started in 1964, long before he rose to prominence as one of the most important writers of Indian film. Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira were the four children they raised together. Although there was initial opposition to his second marriage to Helen in 1981, the family eventually came to love one another and became the close-knit unit that exists today.
